Timestamp Camera · Effective August 27, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Timestamp Camera ("the App") accesses on your device, how it's used, and what — if anything — ever leaves your device. We've tried to keep this in plain language rather than legalese.

The short version: your photos, videos, and location data always stay on your device. We don't require an account, and we don't collect your name, email address, or any other personal information to use the App. We do collect a small amount of diagnostic data to help us fix bugs — see Section 4 below for exactly what that is.

1.Information the App Accesses

The App requests the following device permissions, each used only for the specific purpose described. You can review or revoke any of these at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security on your iPhone.

Camera

Used to take the photos and videos you capture in the App. Images are processed and stamped entirely on your device.

Location (While Using the App)

Used to stamp the date/time card with your coordinates, a reverse-geocoded address, and a small map thumbnail. Your location is embedded directly into the media saved on your device — it is never sent to our servers.

Microphone

Used only to record audio when you capture a video. Not accessed at any other time.

Photos Library (Add Only)

Used only to save your captured, stamped photos and videos into your Photos library, if you choose to. This is an add-only permission — the App cannot browse, read, or access any of your existing photos.

2.Information Stored On Your Device

The App stores the following locally, in the App's own private storage on your iPhone — never on a server we operate:

  • Photos and videos you capture, along with the folders you organize them into.
  • Your stamp customization settings — date/time format, position, which fields are shown, brand/company text, and an optional logo image you provide.

None of the above ever leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share, export, or move a photo or video off it (for example, using the share sheet, or saving to your Photos library).

3.Sharing Stamped Photos

This is worth calling out specifically: the date, time, and location on a stamped photo or video are burned directly into the image itself, not just attached as hidden metadata. Most apps strip location metadata automatically when you share a photo — that doesn't apply here, since the location is part of the picture. If you post or send a stamped photo to someone else, anyone who sees it can see exactly where and when it was taken. That's often the point of using this App, but it's worth keeping in mind before sharing a stamped photo publicly.

4.Diagnostic & Usage Data

The App may collect limited diagnostic information to help us understand feature usage and fix bugs — for example, your device model, iOS version, app version, country, language, and which screens you open. This is tied to a random identifier generated on your device, not your name, email, or Apple ID. It's not fully anonymous, since it's paired with device and usage details, but it's never used to identify you personally, and it never includes your photos, videos, location, or any content you've stamped.

We do not sell this information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. If you'd like us to delete any diagnostic data tied to your device, or opt out of this collection entirely, email us at unwrapsolution@gmail.com and we'll take care of it.

5.Information We Do Not Collect

  • No account, sign-up, name, or email address is required to use the App.
  • We never access your existing Photos library — only ever add to it, and only with your permission.
  • We do not access your contacts, messages, calendar, or browsing history.

6.Data Retention & Deletion

Photos and videos remain in the App until you delete them, or until you delete a folder they belong to. Deleting the App itself removes all of its locally stored data, including every stamped photo or video kept only inside the App (anything you separately saved to your Photos library is unaffected, since it's stored by the system, not the App).

7.Third-Party Services

The App uses Apple's own MapKit framework, on-device, to render the map thumbnail and to reverse-geocode your coordinates into a readable address. This processing is governed by Apple's own privacy practices, not ours.

8.Security

Your photos, videos, and settings are protected by iOS's standard app sandboxing — the same protection every app on your iPhone relies on to keep other apps from accessing its data. The diagnostic upload described in Section 4 is the only time the App talks to a server at all, and it travels over a secure connection; we take reasonable measures to protect it once received. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we design with that in mind at every step.

9.Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.

10.Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — most often to reflect new features or legal requirements. We'll always post the revised policy here with an updated effective date, and for any change we consider material — like starting to collect new types of information — we'll try to let you know in the App itself.

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or how the App handles your information, reach out at unwrapsolution@gmail.com.
